By now, if you follow our YouTube output, you'll recognize the fire escape steps as a spot where freestyles go down. Everyone from Twista to Boogie to Emilio Rojas has freestyled on the fire escape, and the latest rapper to give it a go is Mark Battles.

The Fly America founder has been busy promoting his debut album, Numb, which dropped the other month, and included records like the King Los-featured "Going." However, he's always got bars on deck, and he didn't hesitate to spit off the cuff for us. Check it out above.
