King Los Speaks On His Cypher Performance At The 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards

While on the green carpet for the 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards, we caught up with King Los so he could give us some clues about what to expect from his cypher.

He broke it down for us: “You know what, you gon’ have to do your homework. When I got in the cypher, I didn’t do instant gratification. So my bars ain’t immediately ‘oh!’ You gon’ have to go fishing to eat this time. I bring back ’95 – setup, metaphor, punchline. If you sharp and you on your stuff, you gon’ get it, but it might go over some heads, and that’s what I’m trying to do.”
