Jadakiss explains the concept behind "the bust" and the work ethic behind his veteran career.
Shortly after Jadakiss released his fourth solo album, Top 5 Dead or Alive, the Yonkers emcee came through HNHH to talk about how, at age 40, he's managed to stay relevant in the rap game and how he's nowhere near hanging up the mic. Though he spent years working on T5DOA, he's still putting in constant work following the album's release. He's already putting together a tour and looking ahead to his next project as well as an upcoming album with The LOX.
Jada also discussed his decision to try out a different type of artwork for T5DOA -- in the form of a bronze bust of his own head. "The bust" is a symbol of his status as a hip-hop Hall of Famer, which he believes was certified upon the release of T5DOA.
