JMSN "Power" Acoustic Performance

The young HNHH studio has seen its fair share of lit performances, but never had it experienced the full array of vibrant sounds that JMSN brought alongside his full backing band when they decided to bless us with an acoustic rendition of the song "Power," which appeared on JMSN's new album, It Is. On It Is -- more stripped-down than his past work -- raw elements of blues and classic-era R&B inspire JMSN to be painfully honest with his emotions. To begin the studio performance, his band cooks up a slow-burning groove that creates an immediate sense of intimacy in the studio. JMSN quickly gets confrontational when he lets his vocals take over the room, singing of how easy it is to keep one's mind and heart in a destructive place -- a place he's been before and one that he hopes to sing his listeners away from.
