G-Unit dropped off their new EP today, The Beast Is G-Unit. The crew, save for 50 Cent who couldn't make it through, sat down with HNHH for an exclusive interview recently to discuss the initial Summer Jam stage reunion, the addition of Kidd Kidd and more.
Tony Yayo brings us back a minute, reminiscing on past experiences with the Unit, from introducing Lloyd Banks to 50 Cent, to copping street mixtapes on Jamaica Avenue. Yayo goes on to detail how hip-hop has changed, including street credibility, most of which is fake nowadays. "Now it's to a point where a motherfucker could get jacked and make a hit record. Before you get jacked, your career could be over," Yayo said.
Lloyd Banks goes on to discuss "Jackpot" versus "Hot Nigga," and how the latter track hit harder, and they all speak on what to expect with The Beast Is G-Unit. Cop the EP on iTunes now.
Sidenote: Banks confirms he is working on Cold Corner 3.
