G-Eazy details his working relationship with Southside of 808 Mafia.
G-Eazy was featured alongside Lil Wayne on DJ Carnage's big remix of "I Like Tuh," with original featured artist ILoveMakonnen. It was a great remix, and a great look for the Bay Area rapper who is on his way to certified stardom.
While G-Eazy preps the anticipated follow-up to These Things Happen, he came through NYC and stopped by to speak on a few things. In addition to playing "This or That" and telling us about that one time he ate lobster with Jay Z, no big deal, he also spoke on finding out he was on a collab with Weezy and working with producer Southside.
G-Eazy reveals that he cut the verse for Carnage "a long ass time ago," and that the two have been friends for six years. However his excitement went up a level or three when he found out Wayne was on the track, and even better, getting to meet the New Orleans rapper at the Alexander Wang fashion show.
