A-Trak is a busy man. He's gone from winning DJ championships across the world, to serving as Kanye West's touring DJ, founding his own label, Fool's Gold, and constantly working with artists of all different genres.
We caught up with the Montreal producer at SXSW, and he gave us an update on some of the new music we'll be hearing from him in the near future. Detailing the collaborative process that went into Low Pros (which involved working with many of Atlanta's biggest stars in their local studio), A-Trak revealed that he's still fine-tuning the material to put out a proper follow-up to the 2014 EP. He then went on to talk about the elusive (but incredibly productive) recording habits of Cam'ron, as well as how Rome Fortune became a part of the Fool's Gold Family.
Despite his many ongoing collaborations, A-Trak stressed that this year, he'll be focusing more on solo work than in year's passed. Look out for big things in 2015.
