These days, all it takes is one song to blow, especially in New York. Just look at Desiigner, Young M.A, and Bobby Shmurda.
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is in a similar position as a buzzing emcee out of The Bronx, but he's built his hype off of a few strong songs that have become moderate hits rather than the all-out smashes from the aforementioned rappers.
"Wrong N***a" is the closing track off A Boogie's 2016 EP TBA, and while it's not as big as some of his other records, it certainly has the potential to be. The melodic, R&B-leaning track gets a fitting video focused around late night cruising in NY.
