Sacramento's Mozzy just released his Fake Famous album, and today he's shared a chilling video for the "The People Plan." The clip cycles through footage of some disturbing footage of the police killings of Eric Garner and Alton Sterling, as well as images of slain teens Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin. It's a difficult watch, but a reminder of the continued oppression Black Americans face. The lyrics of the song offer some perspective on the issues that plague the U.S.
"Momma couldn't save you from the judge / they the Klan / 40 acres and a mule mean they worked us off the land / let the jury hang us when the witness hit the stand / the dream died / Dr. King got blammed / trying to stand up for us / now look at where we stand / Black on Black crime a part of the people plan"
