After being renewed for two more seasons, "The Simpsons" have broken another enormous record.

"The Simpsons" didn't need anymore enormous accolades, but here they are snagging even more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, "The Simpsons" have been renewed for two more seasons, and by the end of that run, it'll have broken the record for the most episodes ever of a scripted television series. That means that "The Simpsons" will have surpassed "Gunsmoke," a television Western that ran from 1955 to 1975.

"The Simpsons" has had a strong relationship with hip-hop, having featured the likes of 50 Cent and Ludacris as guest stars in the past. Most recently, Pharrell made an appearance on the famed animated series. Its influence stretches large across hip-hop as well, with some speculating that Kodak Black got his notorious hair style from Lisa Simpson.

Are y'all planning on tuning in to "The Simpsons" for these next two seasons?
