Washington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed had himself a rough game against the Panthers on Monday Night Football and his frustration boiled over late in the third quarter, throwing a punch at Kurt Coleman and earning himself an early trip to the locker room.
Reed, who went into the game battling a shoulder injury, caught just one pass for six yards before throwing a jab at Coleman and getting ejected from the game. The Redskins drive stalled after the penalty on Reed and ultimately settled for a field goal which was going to cut it against Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers last night.
The Skins' loss last night puts them at 7-6-1 on the season, trailing both the Packers and Bucs for the final playoff spot in the NFC.
