PREMIERE: Philadelphia's Sic puts on for Ms. Hill with "Doo Wop."

Philadelphia spitter Sic keeps his friends close and his heroes closer, choosing to take his respect for Lauryn Hill's music to the next level. The talented lyricist decided to name his upcoming mixtape The Education of Lauryn Hill Son as a sign of respect for the Queen Fugee. Today we bring you the first single from that project, "Doo Wop."

Featuring a blend of Lauryn Hill's "Doo Wop" instrumental and the beat from Drake's "Draft Day," Sic's new single showcases the Philly rapper's impressive flow, as well as his passionate lyrical motor. This is what Sic had to say about his upcoming Lauryn Hill-themed project:

"In 1998, an inspiring miseducated seed was planted, and from the seed grew the birth of a legend with all intent to change the world by giving back just what was given to him; that is a gift that keeps on giving."
