Young Thug seems to have hit it off with his hero Wyclef Jean when the two got together in the studio earlier this year. After releasing a sparking track called "I Swear" on Halloween, they return this afternoon with the music video. Wyclef accepts a mission to save Thug's fiancee Jerrika Karlae from an assassin. Will he get to her in time???
Speaking with Billboard, Wyclef reflected on meeting Thug for the first time he met Thugger: “The vibes were so strong after he played me some more material and I could feel his pure songwriter style. I understood how talented this young man is and I felt 'I Swear' would be a great way for us to do something different, something fresh and new. We mixed 1997 with 2017. I call it 'over turn' -- that's when the 'turn up' is on overdrive."
