Last night's Rockets vs Warriors game went into double overtime, giving Draymond Green an extra 10 minutes to deliver his finishing move. This time, James Harden was on the receiving end of Draymond's karate kick which struck him upside the head.
Draymond was actually fouled on the play but when officials reviewed the tape they also slapped Green with a Flagrant 1 for his "unnatural leg extension." Green hit one of two foul shots while James Harden sank both flagrant free throws to give the Rockets a 4-point lead which they never relinquished.
After the game, Draymond spoke about the play and later sent out a subtle tweet hinting that he's being targeted by officials.
"I never thought that they would call a flagrant foul," Green said. "That never even crossed my mind. It wasn’t really much going through my head at all, but I got to try and make these two free throws. Other than that, I really don’t worry too much about what they do."
"They’re going to do what they want to do," he said. "That ain’t got nothing to do with me…They’re going to do what they want to do. I don’t control what them people do. Whatever they decide is what they decide. It ain’t much I can do about it, it ain’t much apparently anybody else can do about it. So I really don’t care what it is. They called it. I got to move on."
