DJ Mustard's lane has been clear from when he first emerged on the scene, but he's been consistently glossing up his sound with each new release. Mustard's Cold Summer found the DJ delving deeper into the clubby synth sounds that defined his R&B and pop-leaning hits, and "Know Me" is a good example of a record that plays to all of his strengths. His frequent collaborator RJ provides an animated, decidedly west coast verse, while Rich The Kid supplies some more melodic, auto-tune driven vocals on the hook. The video finds all thos einvolved in some sort of dystopian future, but one that seems like can support their party-heavy lifestyle, which is a good representation of the record itself.
