Drake is up for 13 awards at the 2016 American Music Awards, which is currently underway. Shortly after accepting his first award of the night, as VIEWS was named Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album, Drake showed up in a brand new Apple Music commercial that was premiered during the award show. There have been rumors of a relationship between Drake and Taylor Swift, and more credible reports of a potential collaboration. Though Taylor doesn't join Drizzy in the new Apple Music ad, she does soundtrack his workout routine. The commercial serves as a counterpart to the April Apple Music ad starring Taylor Swift, who fell off the treadmill while rapping "Jumpman."
Drake's aggressive new single with 21 Savage, "Sneakin'," plays to start the ad, as he's benching heavy weight with his trainer spotting him. Once he's alone, though, he quickly grabs his iPhone and puts on Apple Music's "Pop Workout" playlist, and he then begins an inspired lip sync rendition of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," breaking into a hilarious dance routine in front of the gym mirror. He eventually puts so much energy into jamming out to Taylor that he buckles under the weights and tumbles onto the floor. "Distractingly good," reads the screen at the end of the ad.
