During his episode of On The Come Up, D.R.A.M. mentioned that he worked as a telemarketer and at Best Buy during the early stages of his music career. In a new segment of Pitchfork's "Over/Under," he revealed that he had a brief stint as a debt collector at Bank of America. He declared Bank of America "mad overrated" and recalled his first call ever for the company, in which a well-spoken client showered racial epithets while D.R.A.M. listened on speakerphone with his co-workers.
Elsewhere in the segment, he shared his opinion on such diverse topics as Macaulay Culkin, pandas, cartoon pornography, and Barney. "Please don't slight that purple man," he said of Barney.
