Australian rugby star Jarry Hayne was recently conducting a presentation for high schoolers warning them of the importance of cyber safety when, ironically, the presentation was hacked and pornographic images showed on the projector screen in front of the audience.
Hayne was conducting the presentation on behalf of Norton Security and an employee who was with him at the time says the images definitely didn't come from Hayne's phone, but that still doesn't totally take away from the embarrassment.
"It definitely was not on Jarryd's device," Nick Savvides said. "Connecting to open networks, people can see what you're doing and in this case, inject unwanted materials."
Hayne had volunteered to allow the employee to hack into his phone, to prove how easy it is for someone to hack into a device while they use WiFi, but it turned into a nightmare when images of athletes quickly turned into porn while a local tv station awkwardly filmed the whole thing.
