"I think he's going to be a very outstanding player in this league."

20 years ago to the day, Allen Iverson (and the newly retired Ray Allen) made his NBA debut.

In honor of the 20th anniversary of A.I.'s first game on November 1st 1996, the NBA has released this mini-movie featuring highlights from that night which turned out to be one of the greatest NBA debuts of all-time

The Answer went off for 30 points and six assists against fellow rookie Ray Allen and the Milwaukee Bucks and although the Sixers took an L on that night, Iverson's college coach John Thompson was spot on when he said, "I think he's going to be a very outstanding player in this league."
