Pusha T speaks on mass incarceration during interview on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert."

Pusha T has been an increasingly active member of the Hillary Clinton campaign as election day comes nearer and nearer. Last night, he spoke on Hillary and mass incarceration during an interview on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbet."

First, Colbert brought up the "incredible, iconic" "Grindin'" beat. "[Pharrell] told me that if I was not at the studio within 10 minutes to get the beat, he was going to give the beat to Jay Z," Pusha said. "The fact that he would give a great beat to an artist who wasn't from our hometown would have burnt me up," he joked.

Pusha asserted his belief that Hillary Clinton would carry on much of the agenda Obama has carried out and spoke briefly on mass incarceration, which he called the "most important issue tearing apart our community right now.” He argued that convicted felons should have the right to vote. “You can’t vote, you can’t get grants," he said. "It’s like you keep paying forever. We have to change that.”
