Tony "Hi-Tone" Valenz's new album No Xanax Needed takes the form of a confessional as the California rapper attempts to atone for his sins. Earlier this month, HNHH premiered the videos for "Purpose" and "Selfish." This morning, the trilogy of Hi-Tone videos concludes with "Fear."
In "Fear," Hi-Tone overdoses on pills and is rushed to the hospital in the dead of night. Though he raps from his hospital bed as his family sits anxiously in the waiting room, he recorded the verse at a point when he was two months sober. Like all of us, he's experience fear -- "the most subtle and destructive of all human [emotions]" -- and he's not afraid to admit it.
