Lin-Manuel Miranda brings the Biggie-referencing song "Ten Duel Commandments" from his masterpiece musical "Hamilton" into the contemporary political realm, re-writing the lyrics as a campaign stump for Hillary Clinton.

When a modern day master of culture does something cringe-worthy, we stay loyal and watch the video anyway.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, the genius behind the greatest Broadway/hip-hop crossover success in history, has taken one of his beloved "Hamilton" tracks and performed it with rewritten lyrics at a New York City fundraiser for the Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton. The song he chose to re-write here is "Ten Duel Commandments," a beautiful Biggie reference that even Pac would be proud of.

The results are good spirited, but a bit reminiscent of when your English teacher attempts to rap Shakespeare to make it hip and familiar. It's still worth a watch, even if just for the line "Tim Kaine in the membrane."

Just in case you've heard of Lin-Manuel Miranda, but "Ten Crack Commandments" isn't on your list of five (or less) Biggie songs you can name, we've attached the Life After Death classic below.
