Sevyn Streeter has been quietly putting out some of the best R&B records of the last few years, and she's finally closing in on her debut album. Her new single, "D4L," pays subtle tribute to the late Shawty Lo's groundbreaking snap group in its title, while musically, it reaches a little further back into Atlanta history. Teaming up with The-Dream, it recalls the synthy textures and pounding 808s of ATL bass.
The album is set to be titled Girl Disrupted, and will be out in early 2017. It follows previous singles "My Love For You" and "Prolly" with Gucci Mane.
