Setting picks is so 2015. The new wave is throwing a sneaker at your opponents face to help free up one of your teammates. At least, that's the way Blake Griffin and the Clippers took care of business last night.
In an effort to clear the court of Jamal Crawford's stray sneaker, Blake chucked the shoe towards the sideline but Cory Joseph's face got in the way, temporarily blinding him from covering Chris Paul.
I'm not saying this is how Doc Rivers drew it up in the locker room but Blake's aim here was spot-on, it's almost like he's been working on it all Summer.
