Staying true to his Mass roots, Mark Wahlberg gets top billing in a new flick about the tragic 2013 Boston Bombing entitled "Patriots Day." In the film, Wahlberg plays a police officer on-duty at the Boston Marathon as the bombing takes place, and we can be certain that his character exudes characteristics of courage and heroism at some point or multiple points of the motion picture. It's been reported that Wahlberg's character is based on a combination of several people who were present at the Boston Bombing.
Wahlberg, also known as Marky Mark, has previously won an Academy Award for playing a Boston cop in 2006's "The Departed," and we wouldn't bet against this film as Oscar bait. Are you looking forward to watching this?
