Mick Jenkins plays "Over/Under" with Pitchfork.

Mick Jenkins is the latest guest to appear on Pitchfork's Over/Under series. For his edition, he questions how we came up with the name for 'seahorses' and calls them overrated, "I don't really understand our references for why we call seahorses seahorses. They're not...What are they?"

Karaoke receives his underrated blessing, as well as jazz (probably unsurprisingly as he does have a bit of a jazz influence on his sound), however both baseball and New York City he calls overrated (the latter "to the fullest extent").

Check out the new video above. Mick is fresh off the release of an album, The Healing Component, which we were definitely fucking with. Read our recent interview with him here.
