Scotty ATL has dropped off a new video to "Kno That U Will," a track off his thoroughly enjoyable new project, Daily Bread. Atlanta singer Kissie Lee features on the song and in the video, which finds Scotty seated in the middle of a country road, watching an old TV that displays black-and-white footage that is presumably from his childhood. "Kno That U Will" is a particularly painful but also motivational track off Daily Bread, as Scotty reflects on all the struggle he's encountered and all the loved ones he's lost along the trying road to where he is today. It's tough for him to dwell in his past, though he knows he can use his story as a source of inspiration.
The "Know That U Will" video ends by showing an array of framed portraits of the people who have left Scotty's life far too soon, including Bankroll Fresh. The song fittingly comes at a painful time for the Atlanta rap scene, with the recent loss of Shawty Lo. "I met Shawty Lo at his video shoot a few years ago and he was just a cool ass dude,” Scotty told HipHop DX. “I remember being in the back with him and his team as they got ready for the shoot and hearing everything Shawty say sound like he was rapping, even just normal conversation. He’s gonna be missed. We also lost Bankroll recently so both losses were a big blow to the city. I’m praying for his fam and everyone involved.”
