Horses, being the logos of a few luxury automobile companies, often show up in rap lyrics, though it's rare to see a rapper literally on horseback. But Chicago's Adamn Killa rides a thoroughbred steed in his new "Saddler" video, and he does so like a trained equestrian. "Saddler" is a smooth-riding new track that finds Adamn exercising his usual loosely melodic drill flow. Though he's deliberately lethargic at times, he maintains careful control of his tempo. With a subtle increase in speed and energy, the hook on "Saddler" becomes immediately contagious. Adamn ends the video by hopping in a Porsche equipped with hundreds of horses, sitting next to a girl who shares his magenta hair color.
"Saddler" is produced by Oh Zone, and the new video is directed by Will Hoopes. Head here to download Mr 650, Adamn's recent tape with producer DP Beats, and look out for some "Saddler"-inspired merch (some of which can be spotted in the video) to drop shortly.
