It's been quite a while since Kevin Gates has revisited Islah. He returned Wednesday with a new video for "Time For That" that takes him to a place of cracked clay and abandoned buildings (Morocco? Nevada?). The arid setting and melting clocks evokes Salvador Dali's surrealist masterpiece "The Persistence of Memory."
The video begins with a curveball -- it blares "Really Really" and encourages the viewer to go cop Islah before launching into "Time For That." The album is one of the year's best to date, listen here if you haven't.
