British singer Sampha has been integral to the creation of songs by Drake ("Too Much") and Kanye West ("Saint Pablo"). His track record as a solo artist is excellent and he is currently gearing up for the release of his debut album Process, which will be his first project since his 2013 EP Dual. Earlier this week, he shared a brooding single "Blood on Me." Thursday night, he performed the song on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Sampha has one of those singular voices that translates well to live performances. Here, backed by a live band, he holds it down on the keys before stepping it out and fully letting his vocals fly.
