Empire will be returning for a third season this September and it will be featuring plenty of Mariah Carey, who will play the role of Kitty- a singer that teams up with Jamal Lyon.
Mariah is briefly featured in the latest trailer of Empire's third season which will also star familiar faces like Taraji P. Henson, Terrence Howard and Xzibit, as well as another new cast member, Kid Cudi.
Of course, Mariah and Cudi are just two of the many well known artists who have appeared on the hit show, including Ludacris, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, Snoop Dogg, Pitbull, Ne-Yo, and Kelly Rowland just to name a few.
Season 3 of Empire will premiere on Wednesday, September 21st on Fox.
