Atlanta legend Sonny Digital has put so many rappers on with his beats, and he's often not credited to the extent he deserves. Over the past couple of years -- and in 2016 especially -- he's been pushing his own brand hard, and doing so by rapping over his own instrumentals. Even more recently, he's been hitting up some of his fellow beat-making bosses in ATL and seeing if his rap skills translate to their productions. They do indeed. One of Sonny's best cuts of the year is "SRGOW," which is the acronym for his new tag and slogan: Sonny Rollin' Grams of Wax. The track is produced by The Honorable C-Note, who's had a helluva year with A$AP Ferg's "New Level," Kodak Black's "Can I," Migos' "Say Sum," and many more. Here's the new "SRGOW" video, starring both Sonny and the King of the Honorable Court.
The video finds the two all-stars stunting in the streets and parading in whirlwinds of dollar bills. It's great to see Sonny starting to look like a star in front of the camera. 'Bout time that he dropped a new project as an emcee.
