Netflix previews "The Get Down" in this latest video clip.

Netflix has a new show debuting in two weeks, "The Get Down." The TV show focuses on hip-hop history, specifically, 1970s New York scene. Netflix brought the OG Grandmaster Flash on board as an associate producer, and today they've debuted a mini featurette (it's just over a minute in length) which has Flash speaking on his role in the TV series while also giving us a look at clips from the first season. Flash taught his skills firsthand to the character that portrays him on the show, actor Mamoudou Athie.

Take a look at the clip above to get some insight on "The Get Down," and check Netflix on August 12th for the series premiere.
