After almost three years in prison, Doe Boy came home in May, and he's since reclaimed his spot as one of the top dogs in Cleveland and also as a key member of Future's team at Freebandz, to which he signed in late 2012, when he was 18 years old. He's young, hungrier than ever, and ready to tell the world his story, which he presents in punishing detail on his latest single, "Mama Neva Understand," which comes with a brand new video.
In the video, Doe Boy goes back to his Cleveland stomping grounds and raps about how he got immersed in a life that his mother tried to steer him away from. From bringing a knife to school at age 9 to jumping off the porch at 12, Doe Boy felt the streets calling at an early age. He shows love to the guys -- some of whom are in the video, others not so fortunate -- who have helped him get to where he is today, fully backed by the streets that raised him.
