ScHoolboy Q has shared the second part of his film series in support of his upcoming album, Blank Face LP. Part one, released last Friday, included the video to the Blank Face track "By Any Means," and today's clip, about nine minutes in runtime, functions as the video to "Tookie Knows II," the final track on the LP. The song is a sequel to the "Tookie Knows" interlude that appeared on Q's 2012 album Habits & Contradictions. "Tookie Knows II" features Traffic and TF, two rappers from Q's Figg St. crew, and it's produced by Nez & Rio.
The new video begins with a gang of "blank faces" raiding a pawn shop and hitting a big score. The next scene takes viewers to Q's block, which soon becomes the target of a police raid. Q's taken in along with several of his neighborhood affiliates, and they look all too natural in the royal blue jumpsuits they're given inside the pen. The video is an example of the vicious cycle that Q and his boys were forced to accept upon their entry into street life. Q is put into a van with a few other inmates at the end of the video, and it's unclear if he's being taken to the feds or back to the outside world. "To be continued..."
The Blank Face LP drops July 8.
