Harlemite Dave East is next up to take a swing at the XXL Freshman Freestyle, following up one from Lil Uzi Vert yesterday. Although New York rap has been going through a bit of slump, Dave East counts for one of two NYC natives to grace the 2016 XXL Freshman cover, the other being Atlanta appropriator Desiigner.
