Seattle native Dave B continues to climb up the critical ranks of the hip-hop world, following the release of his Punch Drunk album last year. We've been keeping tabs on him prior to the album though, when he teamed up with Jake One for "Leaves," serving as his first HNHH appearance. He's received the Soulection co-sign as well, teaming up with Sango a few times, with his most leak being a Sango collaboration titled "Parallel."
Today he serves up a video for the short record "Outside" off Punch Drunk, which shows off his GoldLink-esque sing-rap vibes in a music video shot by Warsame Warsame. Rather than go the usual video vixen route, Dave B employs two little dogs to sit beside him throughout the visual. And a teddy bear. It's refreshing, to say the least. Take a look.
