Mikey, fka Mike West, made his HNHH debut last month with "2am," produced by K Swisha of Private Club Records. The North Carolinian R&B trapper is now back with a new track, "Main Bitch," as well as an accompanying video. This one's produced by his frequent collaborator Remy.
It's becoming clear that Mikey is enjoying the euphoric trap wave as of late. Over a beat of lightweight synths and squeaks, Mikey drops off quick, half-sung one-liners and also picks up his flow to flex his rapping skills. His style is choppy but catchy, and he's able to float in sync with the delicate melody for the whole track. The song's feel-good energy isn't let up by the video, even though it's set in a parking garage. In fact, Mikey makes it look like a welcoming theme park for all of his stunting adventures.
