Chicago production kingpin Young Chop just dropped off his new King Chop album, on which he intends to purvey his RAP skills to the world. To celebrate, Chop has now shared the video to the album's lead single, "Around My Way," which was released in October. Both of the track's other collaborators, Vic Mensa and Chop Squad Records' King 100 James, show up in the new video.
The video matches the track's suspenseful energy, as all three rappers float in a hellish red sky. Apparitions of vicious beasts flash before them whilst they spit raps of fury. The visual gets progressively more demonic, as a large skull with machine guns for crossbones fills the ether. The skull is occasionally replaced with the face of Vic Mensa, who makes a great supervillain.
King Chop also includes features from Chief Keef and Riff Raff. Stream the album here.
