YG has been through some shit over the past couple of years. He got shot at his own studio last summer and still doesn't know who the bullets came from. Now, the secret service is keeping tabs on him due to his recent single in protest of the GOP presidential nominee, straightforwardly titled "Fuck Donald Trump." All of that, and he's about to drop Still Brazy, his sophomore album that will attempt to live up to and surpass the expectations set by his classic debut, My Krazy Life.
For all of these reasons and more, YG has enlisted the help of a therapist. And Noisey has filmed his therapy session and will broadcast it in a TV special entitled "YG and the Therapist," which is set to air on the VICELAND channel on Sunday, June 12 at 10PM. Arriving five days before his album, the special should be a good way of getting inside YG's psyche, which is very much "Still Brazy."
