After releasing a new project on Friday, Vic Mensa gives it a second push with a new sit-down with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club early this morning. The rapper's been making the rounds, as this interview follows up his conversation with Hot 97.
Charlamagne Tha God kicks off their interview by asking Vic about his record "16 Shots." Vic elaborates on the song's inspiration, which was the death of Laquan McDonald, who was gunned down by sixteen shots in Chicago. He goes on to discuss putting out his project with 'Respect My Vote' and why he went that route (as well as comments he made last year about voting for Kanye West for President).
The full interview spans 36 minutes, sit back and press play.
