In March, Chief Keef announced his retirement. A fair amount of Sosa music has surfaced in the time since, though in most cases, it's been unclear whether the songs were newly recorded or taken from the vaults. Considering his prolific past, Sosa likely has years worth of unheard material. It now seems that Keef is back in the game, as he's been performing shows, and with his new collab track and video with Glo Gang affiliate Suav Corleone, let's say once and for all that Keef isn't finished with this whole music thing. In fact, he's still got a special flow and energy that few others possess. This Glo anthem is highly turnt, and it'll likely add the word "thiyow" into the mainstream hip-hop lexicon.
Going off the lyrics, "thiyow" seems to have at least a few meanings, as it can be puffed on, and it's also a good moniker to put in the phone in lieu of the government name of a super bad thotty. Whatever it means, it does wonders as an ad-lib and makes for some highly enjoyable rhymes. We hope Keef continues to stay working in order to provide us with that good thiyow all summer long.
