Bernie Sanders was all but written out of the race until this week, when a few different events coalesced to give his presidential campaign bid second life. He must have been feeling himself ahead of the California primary, because he chose to bump DMX’s “Where The Hood At?” as his walk out speech during an appearance in Lancaster, California.
While Hillary Clinton’s email security fiasco gets a lot more serious, with the State Department issuing an internal report on the matter that refutes a significant number of claims Clinton has made during the investigation, Sanders is poised to become relevant in a race he’d all but lost. An impending debate with Donald Trump, the first of its kind, will also serve to help that. It remains to be seen if bumping classic hip hop tracks will help too.
We'll see if DMX issues a cease and desist order, like so many of the artists that Trump has been using at his rallies.
