Atlanta production duo FKi deserves major credit in helping contribute to the rise of Post Malone, producing tracks like "White Iverson" and "Too Young." One of the duo's members, 1st, has been focusing on his solo career for a while now, and today, he has released his debut EP, First Time for Everything. The project includes features from iLoveMakonnen, the late Bankroll Fresh, Danny Seth, and unsurprisingly, Posty himself. The collab with Post, "The Meaning," comes with a brand new video as well.
The instrumental sounds like an interpolation of the "Doobie Ashtray" beat, and the rest "The Meaning" has a slurred, H-Town feel to it. It would've done well on Post's recent August 26 mixtape, which was executively produced by FKi. In "The Meaning" video, 1st and Post turn up in a variety of luxurious settings, whilst remaining humble with chicken wing dinners and cans of Budweiser.
