No media outlet has escaped the orbit of Beyonce's titanic Lemonade HBO event/movie/album/extravaganza. Three late night talk shows -- "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert "The Late Late Show With James Corden," and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" -- were no exception, as they enlisted their writers to come up with fresh Lemonade content.
Kimmel explained Lemonade in the universal language of emoji. Despite misinterpreting the definition of "mansplaining," Colbert used his opening monologue to "white-mansplain" the album to his fellow white males. "This album is about so much more than Beyoncé's marriage," he said. "It makes powerful statements about women being disrespected, especially black women. And I know you have been waiting for a white man to explain it to you." Corden may have had the most interesting Lemonade segment -- he doned braids and a bra in a parody of the film entitled "Lemonjames."
