Houston's Club God gives us the lowdown on the city's wings and rap records.

Travelling to Austin, Texas for SXSW, it was only right that we met up with one of the state's rising stars. We linked up with BeatKing at the Omni Hotel, who gave us a couple of tips for his own city of Houston, breaking down his favorite food spots as well as some of the best tracks from the region's storied rap scene.

As far as food goes, the Club God and wing enthusiast went with Club Onyx as his top pick, which also happened to top his list of the best H-Town strip clubs. He also has a good selection of Houston rap records, which included UGK's "Diamonds Up Against That Wood," Lil KeKe's "Pimp Tha Pen," as well as Mike Jones' "Still Tippin'". Make sure to stay tuned through the whole playlist to catch all his recommendations.

As far as modern Houston classics go, look no further than BeatKing's own Club God 5. Learn more about the prolific rapper and his movement in our recent feature.
