Kid Cudi brought out the hits and the special guests at his ComplexCon performance at the Long Beach Convention Center Saturday night. The performance was notable in that it was the first time Cudi had taken the stage since announcing he would be checking himself into rehab for depression in early October. At the end of his letter announcing his decision to get help, he wrote, "If all goes well ill be out in time for Complexcon and ill be lookin forward to seeing you all there for high fives and hugs," and thankfully, he delivered on that sentiment last night.
On top of performing some of his biggest hits, including "Pursuit Of Happiness" and "Frequency," Cudi also performed his new record, "Surfin'," which is set to appear on his upcoming project Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin'. He brought out both Pharrell and Travis Scott for some assistance, with Travis coming through for their Birds In The Trap collab "Through The Late Night."
