Chance the Rapper releases all of his music for free, so he didn't technically have any singles in 2015, but the wonderfully uplifting "Angels," featuring rising star Saba, was his biggest song release of last year. "Angels" premiered at the end of October with a live performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Chance and Saba have now released the official music video, which is every bit as lovable as the song itself.
The "Angel" visual starts with Chance diving through a cartoon sky, eventually landing upon his hometown of Chicago, whereupon he continues his adventure with his earthbound collaborator. It ends with an incredibly spirited dance-off between Chance and Saba, and afterwards, a halo forms atop the head of an inspired young boy.
The video comes shortly after Chance reportedly announced that his long-awaited third mixtape would be arriving this month.
