It’s hard to believe it’s already been 8 years since the untimely passing of UGK’s Pimp C, but there’s no denying the fact that his legacy & impact doesn’t live on. Coming off the release of a posthumous album last year called Long live The Pimp, Mass Appeal & Complex decided to join forces recently for a new documentary in support of the album dubbed just that, “Long Live The Pimp.”
Running 27-minutes in the length, the in-depth film further explores the life of the great Pimp C, from his humble beginnings in Port Arthur to becoming a star with UGK for keeping it real on the mic. Look for interviews from Bun B, Nas, Pimp’s wife, Chinara Butler, Paul Wall, Michael “5000” Watts, DJ Paul, David Banner, and plenty more. This is a must-watch for any fan.
