Meet Dwagie, a Taiwanese rapper who has just scored a record with both members of Mobb Deep, the English title of which is "Mansion n Security." My knowledge of East Asian rap is obviously pitiful, as it turns out that this guy has also collaborated with another legendary New York hip-hop act: Nas, who joined Dwagie on "Refuse to Listen" in October 2014. And as Nas appeared alongside Dwagie in a video for the track, Prodigy and Havoc show up in the new video for "Mansion n Security." The producer of the beat is C-Infamous, and the track was apparently mixed by Statik Selektah.
Though the track also has a Taiwanese title, much of Dwagie's raps are in English, and there are subtitles at the bottom of the screen for those who need them. Around 1 minute in, Prodigy shows up inside in a bank vault and drops the hook. Havoc shows up soon after, laying down a fiery verse, and Prodigy finishes the record with a verse of his own. All three collaborators are spotted multiple times together throughout the visual, though it's unclear if the Mobb flew to Taiwan for the shoot or if Dwagie came to Queensbrige.
Hopefully Dwagie's efforts to collaborate with American artists will continue to flatten out the global hip-hop landscape.
